Text Annotations

Pyro Plot has introduced Text Annotations, giving operators the ability to write directly on their site plan map — as if the text were painted on the ground itself. This new feature allows users to place clear, readable labels anywhere on the layout, making it easier to call out staging areas, fallout zones, access routes, safety buffers, or custom instructions exactly where they matter.

Text Annotations support multi-line entries, making them ideal for longer notes or detailed instructions. Users can customize text color for visibility against different map backgrounds, rotate text to match site orientation, and scale it up or down to fit the context. Whether it’s a subtle directional note or a large, bold area label, you’re in full control of how it appears.

Like all visual elements in the Site Plan Designer, Text Annotations carry through to the exported Site Plan PDF, ensuring your documentation is clear and professional when shared with clients or AHJs. It’s a simple addition that dramatically improves communication — giving you another layer of flexibility to build precise, approval-ready plans faster.
