These Terms of Service outline the rules and guidelines for using Pyro Plot. We've written them in plain language to make them easy to understand. By using Pyro Plot, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, we're here to help.
By creating an account or using Pyro Plot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our service. We reserve the right to update these terms, and we'll notify you of any significant changes.
To use Pyro Plot, you need to create an account. When you do:
Pyro Plot is intended for professional pyrotechnicians and event planners. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Pyro Plot is a comprehensive planning, documentation, and compliance tool for firework displays. Our service helps you:
Important: Pyro Plot is a planning tool only. It is not a substitute for proper safety training, licensing, or legal approval. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards. Always consult with qualified professionals and authorities having jurisdiction. Fallout zone calculations, safety distances, and other computed values are provided as planning aids and must be independently verified.
Pyro Plot operates on a subscription model:
We offer two billing options for our Professional Plan: $20 per month billed monthly, or approximately $15 per month billed annually. Both plans include unlimited projects, site plans, inventory management, crew management, document storage, and all features. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.
New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. During the trial period, you have full access to all features. While you'll be asked to provide payment information when starting your trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged at all.
Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless you cancel. We use Stripe for secure payment processing. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to the billing frequency you selected.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, but you can export your data before canceling.
If a payment fails, we'll notify you and attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment issues aren't resolved, we may suspend or terminate your account access.
Your data belongs to you. Here's what that means:
By using Pyro Plot, you grant us permission to store and process your data to provide the service. We use your data only as described in our Privacy Policy. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.
Pyro Plot allows you to share projects publicly via a unique read-only link. When you make a project public:
We are not responsible for any consequences arising from information you choose to share publicly through this feature.
When you enter personal information about crew members or other third parties into Pyro Plot, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consent from those individuals to store and process their data through our service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of crew management features complies with all applicable privacy and data protection laws. We process crew member data solely on your behalf and as described in our Privacy Policy.
Pyro Plot provides inventory management and compliance tracking tools designed to assist with ATF-style record-keeping, including magazine management, product tracking, transaction logging, inspection records, and audit logs. These features are provided as organizational aids only. You are solely responsible for maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing the storage, handling, and transportation of pyrotechnics. Pyro Plot does not guarantee that use of our inventory features satisfies any specific regulatory requirement, and records maintained in Pyro Plot should be verified against your own compliance obligations.
We trust you to use Pyro Plot responsibly. You agree not to:
Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
Let's be clear about what belongs to whom:
Pyro Plot owns all rights to the software, features, design, branding, and underlying technology. This includes our name, logo, and any content we create. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
You own all the projects, site plans, inventory data, crew records, uploaded documents, and other content you create or store using Pyro Plot. We claim no ownership over your content. You're free to use, share, and export your work as you see fit.
Please read this section carefully:
Pyro Plot provides tools for planning, not professional advice. We do not provide legal, safety, or regulatory guidance. You must verify all calculations, comply with local regulations, and obtain proper approvals. Fallout zone calculations, inventory tracking, and compliance tools are aids, not substitutes for professional judgment.
Pyro Plot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific needs. While we work hard to provide accurate calculations, you are responsible for verifying all information.
You are solely responsible for your firework displays, safety compliance, inventory accuracy, crew qualifications, and obtaining all necessary permits and approvals. Pyro Plot is a planning tool that assists with documentation and record-keeping—it does not replace professional judgment, training, or legal requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pyro Plot and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the service. This includes, without limitation, any reliance on fallout zone calculations, inventory records, compliance documentation, or other information provided by the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pyro Plot, its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, content you share publicly, data you enter about third parties (including crew members), or infringement of any rights of another party.
Either party can end this relationship:
You can cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time through your account settings. Make sure to export any data you want to keep before deleting your account, as deletion is permanent and includes all projects, inventory records, crew data, and uploaded documents.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or for any other reason. We'll try to give you reasonable notice when possible, but we may suspend immediately for serious violations.
Upon termination, your access to Pyro Plot will end immediately. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination (like ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through a prominent notice in the app at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Pyro Plot after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when these terms were last revised.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Pyro Plot operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. If we have a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to resolve it informally. Any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of our jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pyro Plot regarding the service. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
