Expiring Crew Credential Alerts

Pyro Plot has released a major upgrade to its Crew Members feature with the addition of Expiring Crew Credential Alerts. Operators have long been able to upload and track credentials for their crew — including ATF licenses, PGI certifications, Articles of Pyrotechnics, State Display Operator permits, and any custom certifications — along with their expiration dates. Now, Pyro Plot actively helps ensure those credentials never lapse unnoticed.

The system automatically monitors expiration timelines and sends email reminders when credentials are approaching their deadline. Notifications are sent at 6 months, 3 months, 1 month, and 1 week before expiration, giving operators plenty of time to renew paperwork and keep their crew compliant. In addition to email alerts, Pyro Plot now clearly highlights credential status inside the Crew Members interface, marking them with a yellow “Credential Expiring” state or a red “Credential Expired” state.

For companies managing multiple licensed operators and technicians, this removes a common administrative headache. Instead of manually tracking renewal dates across spreadsheets or notes, Pyro Plot keeps everything visible, organized, and proactive — helping teams stay compliant and ready for every show.
