Formatted Project Notes

Pyro Plot has introduced Project Notes, a powerful new tab within the Project Settings dialog that allows operators to add a fully custom page directly to their exported Site Plan PDFs. For the first time, users can include any additional documentation, instructions, or context alongside their technical site plan — all in one clean, professional export.

Project Notes features a familiar WYSIWYG editor, similar to Microsoft Word or Google Docs, making it easy to format content without learning anything new. Users can structure information with headings (H1–H3), apply bold, italics, and underline styling, create ordered or unordered lists, and add blockquotes for emphasis. The result is polished, readable documentation that looks intentional and professional when shared with venues, municipalities, or AHJs.

Whether you need to include safety procedures, crew instructions, emergency protocols, setup timelines, insurance details, or venue-specific requirements, Project Notes gives you complete flexibility. It’s your space to add context that doesn’t belong on the map itself — and it exports seamlessly as part of your final Site Plan PDF. As always, this feature is included in the Professional Plan, helping operators deliver more complete, approval-ready documentation with zero extra tools.
